Nope. Both the PC and mobile phone version of mbuzzy are completely free. To use some of the cool mobile phone notification features you will need a messaging plan with your wireless carrier.

How do I sign up?  close

Check the top of any page on the site. You will find a link to the registration form.

How do I recover my password?  close

You can have a recovery link emailed to the email address you registered with or an SMS link sent to the mobile phone number you registered with. You can trigger the sending of this link from the password recovery page.

What mbuzzy features are available on the mobile phone?  close

Nearly everything on the desktop computer version of mbuzzy is available on the mobile phone version.

How do I get to mbuzzy on my mobile phone?  close

To access mbuzzy from your mobile phone simply launch your mobile phone web browser and go to www.mbuzzy.com.

Do I need to download something to use mbuzzy on my phone?  close

Nope. mbuzzy does not require the download or installation of an application to use the service from your mobile phone. Everything is available from the web browser on your mobile phone.

How do I see my profile?  close

When you are signed in to your account find the Profile link at the top of any page on a desktop computer or visit your my mbuzzy page and find the Profile link on the mobile phone.

How do I customize my profile?  close

When you are signed in to your account visit your profile and look for the edit icons. Click an icon to edit the section it is associated with.

What is my profile Buzzstream?  close

Your profile buzzstream tells visitors about recent updates to your profile.

How do I add photos and videos to my profile?  close

You can upload pictures or videos from your desktop computer or your mobile phone.

To upload from your desktop computer sign in to your account, go to your Home page (see the Home link at the top of any page), and choose the Photos and Videos link. From here you can upload and manage all your photos and videos.

To upload from your mobile phone use the send to email option when viewing the picture or video on your mobile phone. Send the picture or video to your mbuzzy private upload address, found on your personal mbuzzy Home page (see the Home link at the top of any page). Pictures and videos sent to your private upload address will automatically appear on your public profile.

What is my mbuzzy Home page?  close

Your mbuzzy homepage is the dashboard for everything happening on mbuzzy. Here you will find:

Yes. The mobile downloads available on mbuzzy are provided by the mbuzzy users. Feel free to download as many as you like.

mbuzzy maintains an extensive database of mobile phones and what they can download. The easiest way to see if your phone can accept mbuzzy downloads is to give it a try!

How do I create my own ringtones?  close

mbuzzy's Ringtone StudioTM allows you to upload your own audio snippets and convert them into ringtones for use on your mobile phone. To start using Ringtone Studio sign in to your account, visit your mbuzzy Home page (see the Home link at the top of any page), and choose the Ringtone Studio link. Ringtones made using Ringtone Studio are free.

Where can I browse mbuzzy user profiles?  close

See the Profile section link at the top of every page. This section will allow you to search the millions of mbuzzy user profiles by location, age, gender, and other criteria.

How can I add someone to my friends list?  close

To become friends with someone you must submit a friend request and they must accept. Once you are friends you will appear in each others’ friends list and receive Buzzstream events about each others’ activities.

How can I talk to other users?  close

There are several ways to talk with other mbuzzy users from either the desktop computer or the mobile phone. These include Chat Rooms for real time conversations with lots of other users, Instant Messaging (IM) for private, one on one conversations with other mbuzzy users, and Messages which appear in your mbuzzy Inbox. To chat with other users visit the mbuzzy Chat Rooms (see link at the top of any page). To send an IM or Message to another user visit their profile.

What is a relationship?  close

mbuzzy allows you to propose virtual relationships with other users. Your relationships appear on your profile and the profile of the person you are in a relationship with. To enter a relationship a user must accept your proposal. Once in a relationship you can propose a change of status or breakup anytime.

What is a crush?  close

One of the more playful features of mbuzzy is the secret crush. You can secretly crush someone without them knowing who you are. Exchange messages and choose whether you want to reveal yourself. Watch out, if they crush you back a love connection will be created and your identity will be revealed!

What kind of preferences and privacy options does mbuzzy offer?  close

You can see all mbuzzy settings options by visiting the Settings section linked from the top of any page when you are signed in.

How do stop another user from messaging me?  close

The Ignore feature will prevent another user from sending messages or otherwise communicating with you through mbuzzy. You can ignore another user by visiting their profile and clicking the Ignore option.

How do I keep my profile private?  close

From your Settings section you can choose to only allow friends to see the details of your profile.

How do I delete my account?  close

You can remove your account anytime by signing in to your account and choosing the Delete Account option in the Settings section of your account (see the Settings link at the top of any page).
